Who Am I?

Williams Technology Audit Services (WTAS) is a one-person information security auditing firm whose goal is to ensure you are secure and compliant with industry standards and your customers’ expectations. 

This is not a licensed CPA firm. I focus on helping startups and small and medium-sized businesses prepare for a SOC 2 Type II assessment. Most CPA firms will request that you complete a SOC 2 Type I assessment followed by a Type II. However, you can bypass Type I by allowing me to assess and evaluate your organization against the SOC 2 Trust Services Criteria (Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality, and Privacy). In this manner, you will be ready for a Type II assessment without incurring the costs of Type I.
